Dashlane free vs Premium - what you lose by canceling
Dashlane Premium ($4.99/month) adds unlimited password storage on unlimited devices, a built-in VPN, dark web monitoring, and priority support. The free plan limits you to 25 passwords on one device. If you have more than 25 passwords saved, export them before the downgrade - or consider switching to Bitwarden (free, no limits) or 1Password before canceling.
Exporting your Dashlane passwords before canceling
Before canceling, export your vault: go to My account → Export data → Export to CSV. Store the export file securely - it's unencrypted and contains all your passwords in plain text. Delete the file after importing to another password manager.
Dashlane refund policy
Dashlane does not offer prorated refunds on monthly plans. Annual plan refunds may be available within a limited window - contact support@dashlane.com within 30 days of billing.
