What happens to your PS Plus games when you cancel
Games you downloaded through PS Plus (Monthly Games and the Extra/Premium catalog) become unplayable when your subscription expires. They're not deleted from your console - if you resubscribe, they become accessible again immediately. Games you purchased outright at a PS Plus discount are yours permanently regardless of subscription status.
PS Plus tier comparison
All three PS Plus tiers (Essential, Extra, Premium) use the same cancellation process. Essential includes monthly games and online multiplayer. Extra adds a game catalog of 400+ titles. Premium adds classic PlayStation 1–3 games, game trials, and cloud streaming. Canceling any tier uses the same "Turn Off Auto-Renew" process above.
