Patreon billing - two models to know
Creators choose between two billing setups. Some charge on the 1st of each month (subscription billing), others charge on your join anniversary date. Check the creator's page or your membership details to know your billing date, then cancel before it to avoid the next charge. Patreon does not prorate or refund partial periods.
If you see unexpected Patreon charges
If you are charged by Patreon for a membership you canceled or do not recognize, check your memberships list for anything still active. Patreon support can help, and you can dispute unrecognized charges with your card. Note that some charges appear as the creator's name rather than Patreon on your statement.
