- Does Nationwide cover pre-existing conditions?
- No - like all pet insurers, Nationwide excludes pre-existing conditions. Conditions present before your enrollment date or during the waiting period are not covered.
- Is Nationwide pet insurance good for exotic pets?
- Nationwide is one of the only major pet insurers offering coverage for birds, reptiles, rabbits, and small mammals. If you have an exotic pet, canceling Nationwide likely means going uninsured since alternatives are very limited.
