Cancel Discord Nitro - step by step

Open Discord → User Settings (gear icon)Click the gear near your username at the bottom left (desktop) or your avatar (mobile).

Go to Subscriptions or NitroFind the Nitro/Subscriptions section in settings.

Click Cancel / Manage and confirmSelect cancel. Your Nitro perks continue until the end of the current billing period.

If billed through Apple, Google, or PayPal, cancel thereiOS/Android: cancel through the app store. If you pay via PayPal, you may also need to cancel the billing agreement in PayPal.

Note what revertsAfter Nitro ends, custom emoji, larger uploads, and boosts stop. Any server boosts you applied are removed when Nitro lapses (unless purchased separately).
Check how you pay for NitroIf you subscribed through the mobile app, you must cancel in the App Store or Play Store, not just in Discord settings. PayPal subscribers should also confirm the billing agreement is canceled in PayPal.

Discord Nitro perks include larger file uploads, HD streaming, custom emoji everywhere, animated avatars, and server boosts. When Nitro ends, these revert to free-tier limits. If you used Nitro's included server boosts, those boosts are removed when the subscription lapses. Your account, servers, and messages are completely unaffected.
