HIDIVE carries the Sentai Filmworks catalog - a large library of dubbed and subbed anime titles not available on Crunchyroll or Funimation. If you're switching, check whether your watchlist titles are available elsewhere first.

Watchlist and progress are tied to your account

Your watchlist and episode progress are stored in your HIDIVE account. If you cancel and delete your account, this data is gone. Simply canceling the subscription (without deleting the account) preserves your watchlist if you resubscribe later.

HIDIVE vs Crunchyroll - which has what you watch?

HIDIVE and Crunchyroll have different licensing agreements. HIDIVE carries Sentai Filmworks titles; Crunchyroll (owned by Sony) carries a broader catalog including many simulcast titles. Before canceling HIDIVE, check if your favorite shows are available on Crunchyroll - many aren't.
