TSA PreCheck ($85/5 years) speeds up domestic airport security - no shoes off, laptops stay in bags, shorter lines. Global Entry ($100/5 years) includes all of TSA PreCheck plus Customs and Border Protection clearance on return from international travel. Global Entry is $15 more for significantly more value if you travel internationally even once.

- No. Global Entry is a one-time $100 government fee for 5 years. There are no monthly or annual charges. It does not auto-renew.
- Can I get a refund if I was denied Global Entry?
- CBP does not refund application fees if your application is denied. The fee is for the application process, not guaranteed approval.
- How do I renew Global Entry?
- You can apply for renewal up to 12 months before your expiration date at ttp.dhs.gov. The renewal fee is $100 (or covered by eligible credit cards). Renewal typically doesn't require another in-person interview if your background check is clean.
